The Founder

Jackie Goldstein has achieved local and international recognition for his expertise in working with Windows technologies, including .NET, Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server. He has over 20 years of experience in developing and managing software projects in the U.S. and Israel and is known for his ability to help developers understand and take advantage of emerging technologies. Over the years Jackie has been involved in a wide variety of projects, combining his technical clarity and proficiency with his clients' domain expertise to produce successful software applications.

Recognized Expertise

Since 1997 Jackie has been Israel 's only Microsoft Regional Director. Regional Directors are specially selected Microsoft partners (only 150 world-wide) who possess the rare combination of technical expertise and the ability to quickly learn and explain new technologies. Regional Directors are independent developers and architects who are recognized as industry experts and development "gurus" and help educate and inform the developer community about new Microsoft tools and technologies.

In 2004 Jackie was awarded the "Outstanding Microsoft Regional Director Award" and in 1999 was named the "Microsoft Regional Director of the Year". Microsoft has also awarded Jackie the Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) award for the past several years.

We Wrote the Book on ADO.NET

Jackie is the author of the book Database Access with Visual Basic.NET (Addison-Wesley, ISBN 0-67232-3435) and has been selected as a member of the INETA (International .NET Association) Speakers Bureau. In December 2003, Microsoft recognized Jackie as a Software Legend. He has also written a series of articles for MSDN on building database applications with VB 2005 and SQL Server 2005 and led Renaissance’s development of the SQL Server 2005 Express Teacher Starter Kit for Microsoft (downloadable from microsoft.com)

In addition to dozens of satisfied clients, thousands of Microsoft developers have benefited from Jackie’s depth of knowledge, as well as his ability to clearly explain and demonstrate new technologies through his seminar presentations, technical articles, and training workshops. Jackie is a featured speaker at many local and international developer conferences, including Microsoft Tech Ed, Developer Days, VSLive!, SQL2TheMax, and the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference (PDC). At the end of 2003, Microsoft commissioned Jackie to develop and deliver the VB Upgrade Tour in 10 different cities throughout Europe .
